Volunteer Role Descriptions
NAPA is looking for volunteers to help with specific projects! Please see project descriptions below. We expect each role to be fulfilled for the duration of the current calendar year (April 2022 to January 2023) with freedom and flexibility to work around your own schedule. Expectations include submitting deliverables by assigned deadlines, attending meetings as scheduled with NAPA executive board, and maintaining consistent communication.

Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion
NAPA seeks an individual who will be critical in driving the organization’s DEI efforts and establishing partnerships in this space. In addition to this, the director will serve as a liaison between the NAPA Board & the Affinity Groups to allow open communication and engagement within our NAPA community and ensure our members are getting the resources and support they need.
Director of Programming
NAPA seeks an individual who will continue to drive key initiatives in areas such as sexual misconduct, hazing, leadership development, and more for the NAPA community. They will serve as a liaison between external partners (ex. RAINN) and our member organizations to continue engaging and educating members on local and national levels. They will maintain communications with external and internal organizations, drive day-to-day related operations, and work with NAPA board and organizational leadership to execute the overall vision and strategy for NAPA.
Director of Records
As Director of Records, the individual will work closely with the Executive Board on day-to-day operations and the advancement of the AAGLO fraternal movement. The Director of Records has ownership over communications relating to NAPA board and monthly calls, overall operational maintenance, resource management, and gathering historical documentation. This individual will work closely with our Vice Chair of Communications to execute the overall communications strategy and vision for NAPA.
Director of Marketing
NAPA seeks a social media savvy individual to manage and curate content for NAPA’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and website accounts with the goal of increasing engagement. Experience in utilizing backend analytics and photoshop or Canva is highly preferred. The Director of Marketing would work with the Vice Chair of Communications in executing the overall marketing strategy and vision for NAPA.
Director of Undergraduate Councils
The Director of Undergraduate Councils will serve as a strategic partner for the implementation of NAPA councils. They will establish and maintain long term relationships with FSL offices and undergraduate leadership. This individual is required to have served previously on their national leadership. Experience working with higher education professionals is highly preferred. The Director of Undergraduate Councils would work with the Vice Chair of Membership in executing the overall undergraduate engagement strategy and vision for NAPA.
Director of Alumni Relations
The Director of Alumni Relations will oversee key initiatives to increase alumni engagement within the NAPA community. This individual will drive partnerships and events targeted towards alumni personal and professional development, networking and more. The Director of Alumni Relations would work with the Vice Chair of Membership in executing the overall alumni engagement strategy and vision for NAPA.
NAPA organizations set the gold standard for Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) fraternities and sororities. In addition to meeting the association’s base standards, NAPA member organizations are exposed to resources and expertise to help them continually improve and be the best they can be. Universities, Greek Councils, and students want the best APIDA fraternities and sororities on campus and they can find them in NAPA.
